Ocean Center secures new conferences and events

Ocean Center staff recently secured several pieces of business, including long-term contracts with the American Ceramics Society and National High School Drill Team Championships. 

The American Ceramics Society, already booked at the Ocean Center for 2016 and 2017, will hold five additional conferences here from 2018 through 2022. More than 1,000 scientists, researchers and engineers are among the professionals who will attend the annual Conference and Exposition on Advanced Ceramics and Composites. It’s the nation’s biggest exposition on advanced ceramics and composites, and features state-of-the-art products, services and technology. The National High School Drill Team Championships, already booked at the Ocean Center for April 30 - May 2, will hold three additional events from 2017 through 2019. More than 4,000 members of the Junior ROTC will compete in the championships.
