Ocean Center to host chef’s table at N-J Home Show
John Schmitz, the executive chef for Spectra, the exclusive caterer for the Ocean Center, will prepare two special dishes to order from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2; and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 3.
The dishes are:
- Bakmi goring – chicken and shrimp with a sweet soy called leap manis
- Chicken slate – three pieces of chicken marinated in sweet soy and lime, with spicy peanut dipping sauce
“With the annual News-Journal Home Show at the Ocean Center, we at Spectra have a wonderful opportunity to give thousands of visitors – and potential convention clients – a taste of the unique and delicious catering options available,” said Schmitz.
The Chef’s Table dishes will be sold in addition to regular concessions and will be available during all hours of the home show.
