Ocean Center upcoming events
The Ocean Center will be hosting numerous events in the coming weeks including:
Tuner Evolution: Daytona Beach, April 21
Tuner Evolution: Daytona Beach will be at the Ocean Center from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 21. This southern car community event is a full automotive lifestyle program that showcases many aspects of the after-market automotive industry including some of the hottest customized vehicles in the country. Daytona Beach will feature the same events fans have come to know and love, including the bikini contest, RC Drifting, models and, of course, some of the hottest cars on the East Coast competing for top honors. This event is open to the public. General adult admission is $25. Children ages 7-12 are $10, and children 6 and under are free. For more information, visit www.tuner-evolution.com.
Xcel Regional Gymnastics, April 26-29
USA Gymnastics will host its Xcel Regional Gymnastics meet for Region 8 at the Ocean Center April 26-29. Region 8 includes competitors from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. This competition is open to spectators. Grace House LIFE Gala, April 30
The Grace House Pregnancy Resource Center will host its Grace House LIFE Gala at the Ocean Center from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 30. Mike Williams - a nationally known speaker, Christian comedian and life advocate - is the keynote speaker. The Grace House Pregnancy Resource Center provides services in DeLand and Edgewater. Services include education on fetal development and ultrasound, as well as spiritual and material help and community referrals. Reservations are required for this event, and dinner is included. USAG Region 5 Trampoline and Tumbling, May 11-13
USA Gymnastics will host its Region 5 Trampoline and Tumbling Championships at the Ocean Center May 11-13. Region 5 includes competitors from Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. Admission is $10 for children and $20 for adults.
