Visit the age of dinosaurs with Jurassic Quest

Travel back in time over 60 million years with Jurassic Quest, which returns to the Ocean Center Aug. 30 – Sept. 1.

The event features the largest exhibit of true-to-size, moving, museum-quality dinosaurs in North America. Attendees will feel like they’ve entered another geological period, as dinosaurs roar, move and even walk the floor. Jurassic Quest worked with paleontologists to create dinosaur displays that accurately reflect their ancestors, from scales to feathers to fur.

Beyond interacting with these giants, kids of all ages can take part in huge T-rex and triceratops fossil digs, where young paleontologists can uncover dinosaur bones; get their face painted; create dinosaur crafts; and burn some energy in the Dino Bounce area, with several dinosaur-themed inflatable mazes and dinosaur rides. Another event highlight, the Dinosaur Museum, features real dinosaur fossils dating back over 60 million years.

General admission, which does not include rides or activities, is $22 for kids and adults and $20 for seniors (ages 65+). VIP tickets, which include unlimited rides and activities, are available for $36. Children under 2 are free. Law enforcement and military members and their families save $2 per ticket with identification.

Exhibit hours are 3 to 8 p.m. Aug. 30, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 31, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 1.
