Ocean Center awarded Readers’ Choice award from ConventionSouth magazine

The Ocean Center in Daytona Beach has again received the Readers’ Choice award from ConventionSouth, a national, multimedia resource for planning events in the South. This is the ninth year that the county-run convention center has received the award.

Meeting professionals were asked to name the meeting sites they believe display exemplary service for group events. Nominations were received throughout the year, and the top picks were selected via online voting from more than 7,000 voters. Over 2,500 convention and visitor bureaus, hotels and event facilities were nominated and 337 winners were chosen. Of the winners, only 46 winners were based from the state of Florida.
