24th Annual
Spring Break Nationals at the Ocean
Center March 13 - 14
Get ready to rock: The “World’s Most
Famous Soundoff” is returning to the
“World’s Most Famous Beach.” The
24th annual Spring Break Nationals (SBN)
will be at the Volusia County Ocean
Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave.,
Daytona Beach, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, March 13 - 14.
Open to the public, SBN is a mobile
electronics trade show featuring
manufacturer’s displays that
showcase the latest in automotive
sound, vision, navigation, Bluetooth
devices and OEM (original equipment
manufacturer) integration products.
Tickets are $10 at the door (cash
only).
Highlights of this year’s SBN
include contests and prizes; DJs and
performers; custom cars; Papa John’s
pizza-eating contests; swimsuit
contests; New York’s HOT 97 DJ and
MTV-2 “Fast Machines” host
Funkmaster Flex, who will return for
the 2010 Custom Car and Bike Show;
and Will Castro of SPIKE TV’s
“Unique Whips.” The event also will
feature automotive sound
competitions in several categories,
including sound quality, IdBL sound
pressure level, Bass Boxing and a
NiteGlow auxiliary vehicle lighting
competition.
