Working at the Ocean Center is an exciting way to
make extra money while enjoying the excitement that is surrounded by the
events that take place here. We are always looking for part-time help to
assist us with our events such as concerts, sporting events and
conventions.
DOORGUARDS
Doorguards are part of the Ocean Center Event Staff and are responsible
for monitoring a specific set of doors during an event.
TICKET TAKERS
Ticket Takers are another important part of the Ocean Center Event
Staff. Ticket Takers are the first representatives of the Ocean Center
that our patrons see during an event, so first impressions are very
important. Ticket Takers are responsible for smooth and rapid crowd flow
into the building while assuring the accuracy of tickets at all times.
USHERS
As part of the Ocean Center Event Staff, ushers are responsible for
assisting patrons in any way possible immediately before, during and
immediately following events.
We are looking for alert, observant, pleasant, polite and courteous
people for these positions. You must be able to maintain a calm and
professional attitude even in the face of problems or stressful
situations along with knowing Ocean Center policies and building layout.
