Explore Volusia: Great Backyard Bird Count

Participate in this international event by joining Volusia County environmental specialists for a 2.5-mile hike at Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve, 1755 Martin’s Dairy Road, Port Orange. Using your smart phone, the guides will show you how you can help scientists identify birds. Ages 10 and up are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear closed-toe shoes.
