Carnivorous Plants Bike Ride

When: 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 19 Where: Longleaf Pine Preserve (East entrance), 4551 Pioneer Trail, New Smyrna Beach RequirementsAges 10 and up, children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must bring their own bicycle. Also, a helmet and closed-toe shoes are required. Discover some of the many carnivorous plants that call Volusia County home during a leisurely bike ride on the dirt roads through Longleaf Pine Preserve. The ride will be approximately five miles round trip. See these amazing plants up close and learn why they are important to our ecosystem.
