Most think of World War II as the fight against Hitler in Europe. In this presentation, you will learn about American adversity at places such as Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Guam, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa. Guests will have the opportunity to examine rare artifacts as they learn more about WWII in Japan. This presentation is part of the free Lemonade Lectures series sponsored by Volusia County. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.

The event will take place at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd. Call 386-668-3840 or email lperez@volusia.org with any questions.
